All of a sudden I can't download anything. I'm pretty much technically illiterate but I DO download images/documents frequently and have never had a problem. Until now. Now no matter what I try to download- or when I try to view my previous folder of downloads instead of seeing the image I get a page of random symbols and letters. I can't directly print from Google Sheets; however, I can directly print from Google Docs. In Google Sheets, I click on the print icon. Then, I get the page that has the formatting options. I click on the NEXT button in the top right corner, but instead of a print box popping up, the adobe reader box pops up to save my Google Sheet as a PDF. This means that even if your browser is set up to download the PDF initially, it will still open in a browser tab. To resolve this, see here (external site) Procedure: Google Chrome. Only fields that show messed up are fields that are using Ariel font. I have tried in Reader and Acrobat Pro. I can email this to another user and they are able to open it without any issues. Arial font works in other programs (Word, Excel, etc). Issue is only on invoices that get sent to the user. Any help would be appreciated. Send us the doc. Be sure to attach the original PDF to your email. Print, re-scan, and re-upload the doc. A scanner always produces image-versions of pages instead of type-fonts. Best answer: Just right click the file, choose properties tab. In the general tab you will see the "CHANGE" tab. All you need to do is click change tab and click "adobe reader". You will notice that all your pdf files will return.
