The Django Form class¶. At the heart of this system of components is Django’s Form class. In much the same way that a Django model describes the logical structure of an object, its behavior, and the way its parts are represented to us, a Form class describes a form and determines how it works and appears. Hiding and Showing Form Fields. There are many scenarios where it is desirable to show and hide form fields on a PDF. A couple common scenarios are to keep the user focused on only those parts of the form they need to fill out, and to keep them from being confused by unnecessary fields. Another good use is displaying messages to the user. If the form doesn’t have interactive form fields, open the form in Acrobat 9 (any version) and choose Forms Add Or Edit Fields. Check if this message appears: “Currently there are no form fields on this PDF. Do you want Acrobat to detect the form fields for you?”. When opening file preview on the form within Outlook Desktop the form is displayed and the field data is in the fields designated. When opening the PDF with Reader or Acrobat Pro the forms field data is blank. Clicking on fields to highlight test does not reveal anything, and trying to insert a space and delete the space within the field.
